This is “the local” – an ideal place for a drink, to chat with the locals, watch some sport on the big screen, play pool or listen to music. There is a bar menu if you feel like a snack and on Friday nights there is still the “chook raffle”. The Bar has a wood fire blazing in winter, an amazing collection of old black and white photos of Stanley dating back to the 1830’s and comfortable armchairs and couches. Good coffee and a great selection Tasmanian wine, spirits and beer – including Kentish Ale and Willie Warmer beers from Seven Sheds on tap, the Bar is a warm Stanley welcome and is open from 11.30am.
