The Cellar Table at the Stanley Hotel

This winter, step into the past and savour the flavours of the North West in an extraordinary setting – our historic 1840s cellar. Normally closed to the public, this intimate stone-walled hideaway will open just for this special off-season event. Sit among wine reserves and immerse yourself in a truly exclusive experience. Surrounded by the stone walls that form the foundations of the 1840’s Stanley Hotel.
This exclusive dining event celebrates the very best of North West Tasmania, a journey through local seafood and lush farmland, each course designed to showcase the bounty and beauty of our unique region.
For a minimum of 4 people, maximum of 6 people we will start the evening at 6pm with pre dinner drinks and conclude the evening by 9.30pm.

The cellar remains a constant temperature all year round, but you will need to dress warmly. You will be asked to check in your coats and bags to keep the intimate space uncluttered.

The multi-course menu is set, minor adjustments may be made to the menu if necessary. Some dishes are designed to be shared and will be served in the middle of the table.
The price is for food only, drinks can be purchased from our curated wine list or we can suggest wines to complement the dishes.

Bookings are essential and must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Cancelling up to a week prior will incur a cancellation fee. A credit card will be held at the time of booking as security for drinks purchased.
